We are actively seeking a Specialist, E-Commerce to collaborate with our IT, Sales and Marketing teams to drive the evolution of our Digital Sales and Marketing capabilities. This is a great opportunity to become an integral member of our Digital team and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and business units within the largest telecommunications company in the country.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Program Delivery, you will be responsible for setting, prioritizing, and accepting projects and initiatives in order to ensure the maximum value and functionality of our digital products. As Product Owner, you will gather feature requests, schedule releases, and coordinate sprints. You should be able to identify user needs, help our internal customers understand business value and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital marketing and customer experience and be inspired by their ever-changing nature.

Job duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal business units to analyze both the competitive landscape and customer experience, and align stakeholders with Brand’s experience roadmap
  • Define backlog items (epics/features/user stories) that guide the agile software development team
  • Analyze conversion-related issues, make decisions and manage resolutions to accomplish business objectives
  • Draft objectives and expected results, and apply data analysis to drive key business decisions
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of the end-to-end customer experience and develop strategies to improve it
  • Be accountable for customer experience deliverables and communicating improvements to business partners
  • Develop use cases and prioritizes stories, epics and themes to ensure work is focused on delivering maximum value
  • Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
  • Analyze the end-to-end e-commerce process to increase the transaction success rate
  • Be an ambassador for a vision of a unified brand, and be the primary contact for communicating that vision
  • Develop detailed and clear acceptance criteria for development teams
  • Work closely with Marketing and Marketing Communications to ensure customer experiences align with customer acquisition rules in other channels

Critical qualifications/Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in program delivery and 2+ years of experience working with product teams in an agile environment
  • Depth of expertise with constructs of JIRA, roadmaps, story maps, user story writing, PI planning etc.
  • Understand and have familiarity with A/B testing, Design Sprints etc.
  • Strong communication, presentation and leadership skills coupled with a strong business acumen
  • Proven track record of leading experiences from inception to revenue generation

  • Excel at decision-making, consensus building and conflict management
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, a risk mitigation mindset and exhibit appropriate levels of urgency
  • Strong technical acumen with knowledge of key web and software development technologies
  • Able to communicate to all levels of the organization; possess excellent communication, planning and organization skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting stakeholder expectations
  • Ability to influence, add value and/or challenge decisions when necessary
  • Enjoy working with people and have stellar communication skills
  • Want to highlight your skills by working with one of the best brands in Canada
  • Extreme attention to detail, thrive under pressure, team player

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
