The Next Best Action Management team is building, maintaining and optimizing business logic that drives what actions are to be presented in different customer touch points.  As Bell rolls out its use of next best action tools across multiple channels, you will use your analytical skills to build the right set of business rules to deliver the best action, at the right time, for each individual customer situation.

Job Duties/Accountabilities :

  • Work in virtual teams with Customer Operations, Marketing, Pricing and IT Specialists to create dashboards and reports to help optimize the targeting of recommendations to customers
  • Enable marketing teams to regularly measure campaign performance and consumer trends to maximize marketing effectiveness and directly improve business performance 
  • Explore new sources of information to uncover new opportunities to improve campaigns
  • Consult with our business partners to transform business needs and challenges into data and analytical requirements
  • Analyze data to create actionable insights to better understand and identify customer behaviour, churn and loyalty opportunities
  • Investigate data/process anomalies; propose and implement solutions
  • Take full ownership and accountability for deliverables, communicate proactively and escalate when required
  • Analysis and delivery of business requests/issues/requirements, conducting quality assurance testing for all BI deliverables, and providing end user support related to project and operational Business Intelligence activities for other business units
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills required to work well with business users, other analysis teams, development teams, and IT teams
  • Work with and present to all management levels (CP2 to EVP)
  • Maintain and expand your knowledge of BI and current technology through training opportunities
  • Develop self-serve data and reporting in Tableau. Programming will be in Teradata and SAS 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience
  • You enjoy working with analytical tools, and can communicate technical requirements and issues to non-technical team members
  • You are highly analytical and understand the basic principles of working with large and complex data sets
  • You have knowledge of, and preferably experience with, big data and/or software development, and/or developing visualization tools including but not limited to SQL and Tableau
  • Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task with changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:   

Experience in the following areas would be considered an asset:

  • Customer segmentation and analytics experience
  • Delivering projects in a consulting services firm
  • Data extraction, transformation and load
  • Experience using data visualization tools

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
